IQ Report - Below Minimum Wage

Created by Martin Parkinson, Modified on Mon, 10 Feb at 10:57 AM by Graeme Orchard

It is important that you make sure you are paying UK National Minimum Wage or above, so you will need to check if you have anything below minimum wage in your system.

There are 2 places you will need to check to see if they are below minimum wage, Rates and bookings. Below are IQ Reports for checking that your Rates and Bookings are the minimum wage or above.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Rates below Minimum Wage

This report will list details of any RATES agreements which have been setup where the 'Basic' rate is below minimum wage.
This report works for sites using the 'New' rates files (This is only available in Influence versions after ver 1.00.15.084)

Tip: You can tell if you are using the 'New Rates' file by going into a company record, choosing the 'Rates' page and checking.  If the rates page looks like the one below you are using the 'New' Rates and the report may work.

Notes/Special Features

The report uses the 'New' booking rates file and will only work if you are using these NEW rates.
The report will list any RATES that have been setup where the 'Basic' pay rate for PAYE, Ltd Co or Umbrella is below a minimum rate which the user enters.
Users can key-in the minimum rates - they will be prompted to enter the rate 3 times (e.g. for Oct 2015, this is £6.70)
The report can be found under the 'Booking Rates' file.

Notes/Special Features

The report looks at any bookings (days) which will occur on or after 1st October 2015.
The report prompts for a cut-off date for bookings.
The report will prompt for a rate and will look for bookings below the entered rate
The report is based on the 'Candidate Booking Records' file.

Usage

If you enter the rate as the 'under 25' rate, then the system will find any bookings which are below this value. In SOME cases, these booking are OK because they are for workers who are under 25, but in some cases they will need to be reviewed (The report shows the AGE of the worker, so you can check if the rate is suitable for their age.)

To check the relevant minimum pay rates please see the Government web site.
